Say (Almost) Yes To The Dress

Simone Carvalli gown, found exclusively at POSH
For those of you who don't know, since I graduated college I have been working part-time at a local, bridal boutique in Uptown Minneapolis called POSH Bridal Couture (click to find out more)  This last summer Posh hired me as one of two marketing interns, where I focused on social media marketing practices. Basically got to play around on all the wedding vendor websites POSH belongs to, Facebook, Tweet, and create a Blog (just like this one, check it out!) all day, three times a week.  WAY fun, btw.   ;)

Today I did my first appointment (for the most part) at Posh by myself!  And I almost sold my first dress!!  She had on this BEAUTIFUL sheath, lace Simone Carvalli gown on... Ufff!  The girl looked amazing.  Unfortunately my bride needed some more costly alterations to customize her gown, and went with another store's dress.  Oh well, next time!  The appointment gave me more confidence in myself as a bridal consultant, and hopefully with more practice I can become a pro!
This picture is not quiet the dress from my appointment, but POSH has this sample in store for brides though!

Now back to watching football!  Missed the first half of the Packers-Bears game because of the last appointment of the day, so now... GO STEELERS!!!  Black & Yellow, Black & Yellow!!

RANT OF THE DAY: "Hello Bombshell" Bra

Victoria's Secret Bra
Ufff... Now let me tell you about a rant I have had for some time now...

First and foremost, I want to say I love Victoria's Secret.  All my lingerie is from them (well, lies, I have a few bra's from Gilly Hicks, but the MAJORITY are VS).  The PINK collection is a definite obsession of mine.  And I totally dig push-up bras.  They give the girls that extra lift that boys seem to love ;)   Finally, the Semi-Annual Sale is probably the best invention that VS has ever came up with.  It allows us broke-ass college students to afford sexy panties and bras to impress the drunken men we meet at parties.  (DUH!)

BUT SERIOUSLY, this "The Miraculous Bra" is out of control for a push-up bra!  As the ad above says, "instantly adds up to 2 full cup sizes," to give the max amount of boobies.  I tried it on at the VS in Uptown Minneapolis (amazing store, might I add, with its two levels), because it was super cheap in comparison to its highly expensive original price.  Now, I have some boobs, not too big, not too small (C's bay-bayyyyyyyyy), but WOW the amount of padding in this bra was probably equal to the amount of boob mass I have!  And it hurt!  I was not a fan.

IDK who would be a fan of this bra, but let me just say, NOT I! (Said the fly).

Any thoughts?
